Gymnast Code of Conduct

 

At St. Andrews Gymnastics we expect our gymnasts to:

·      Treat Others with Respect

o   Always treat other gymnasts, coaches, and members with respect and courtesy.

·       Follow the gym rules

o   Staying with your class, wearing appropriate attire, no screaming or roughhousing, etc.

·        Take Pride in St. Andrews School’s facility

o   Take care in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and the gymnastics equipment

·       Attend Practice Regularly

o   Frequent absences undermine and disrupt training regimens/cycles. Gymnasts shall always strive to be punctual for training, competitions or activities and try to inform coaching staff of any anticipated absences

·      Always speak positively about other Ahtletes, Clubs, and the Sport of Gymnastics

o   Never say anything negative about other athletes or clubs, including the St Andrews Gymnastics, or the sport of gymnastics in general to other coaches, gymnasts, parents, the media, members of the general public, or on any social media platform.

o   Discuss any issues you may have with your coach, the Head Coach or the Program Director
