
Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct
By registering with St. Andrews Gymnastics, all parents/guardians agree to the following:
1. Treat Others with Respect
- Treat all athletes, coaches, volunteers, school staff, and other families with courtesy and respect.
- Demonstrate patience, understanding, and positive communication at all times.
- Support you child's participation with out coaching from the sidelines or interrupting class.
This standard extends to in-person interactions, email, texting, and all social media platforms.
2. Support a Safe & Positive Environment
- Speak positively about all athletes, coaches, clubs, and the sport of gymnastics.
- Refrain from negative comments, gossip, or discussions that may harm others or create a hostile environment - whether in person or online.
- If you have concerns, bring them directly to your child's coach, the Head Coach, or the Program Director.
We encourage respectful conversations rather than public informal criticism.
3. Respect the Facility & Follow School Expectations
Because we operate inside St. Andrews School, Parents/guardians must:
- Enter and exit only through the designated gym doors.
- Keep other children and family members out of school hallways, classrooms, and restricted areas.
- Keep outdoor shoes at the entrance and help maintain a clean, safe space.
- Never enter the gym during class time unless permission as been granted for special circumstances.
4. Ensure your Child arrives prepared
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring athletes:
- Arrive 5-10 mins before class, ready to participate.
- Wear appropriate attire.
- Bring a water bottle.
- Are promptly Picked up at the end of class.
5. Communicate Important Information
- Inform coaches of any medical concerns, injuries, allergies, limitations, or medications.
- Keep your contact information updated on uplifter account and check email regularly.
- Notify us if your child will be absent or if concerns arise that may affect their training experience.
6. Promote Health & Safety
- Keep your child home is they are experiencing Flu or COVID like, or contagious cold symptoms.
- Understand coaches may remove a gymnast from class if they pose a safety rick to themselves or others.
- Support your child's wellbeing by encouraging rest, hydration, and a positive mindset.
Your cooperation helps create a space where every child can learn, grow, and enjoy the sport of gymnastics.
